The map shows our progress toward our vision of creating a new state within California. The maroon areas are counties that have joined or are in serious talks with New California. The blue colored areas have expressed interest in New California and are talking with us about next steps. If you are interested in learning more please go to our main Website, New California State Some Background: No State has been brought into the Union who could not demonstrate their ability to govern themselves. New California will demonstrate a governance system as modeled by the U.S. Declaration of Independence, Constitution and the Bill of Rights. At all times representatives from New California will stand ready to work with California State representatives and Federal representatives to complete the separation process in an orderly fashion following all federal and state laws. New California is a new state in development exercising it’s Constitutional Right to form from the State of California. The process to form New California is authorized and codified in: Article IV Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution:New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new States shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress” . U.S. Declaration of Independence states: That, whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such Principles and organizing its Powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness” . We are looking for energetic leaders who want to form New California county committees.
